On October 4, 2008, our beloved Helen L. Stewart passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Helen was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on March 29, 1933 to Arlow and Gladys Mihm. She is survived by her husband, James D. Stewart, two sons, Fred Stinson and Timothy, wife Cathy Stinson and one daughter Tina L. Stinson, sister Mary and husband Jerry Kossar. She is also survived by her stepdaughter Mary and husband Curtis Tidd, stepson Jimmy Stewart. Helen had seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren who she adored and several nieces and nephews.
Helen retired from Sears (Southside) after 28 years of loyal service. She was an active member of Browning United Methodist Church for over 30 years. Helen is gone, but will never be forgotten. Helen was a beautiful person who was full of energy and possessed a strong work ethic. She loved her family, friends and church.
Funeral arrangements through Mission Park South, 1700 S.E. Military Dr. Visitation will be on Monday, Oct. 6th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at Mission Park Chapels South, burial to follow at Mission Park.
